  Description

  This 6,500 square foot single family residence is located in the Westshore District of South Tampa.  The site’s corner location generated the geometry of the project plan.  The house establishes a formal edge along the street and provides a sequence of public to private spaces culminating with an exterior courtyard and swimming pool.  The two-story rectangular massing containing private program spaces define a central wedge-shaped, transparent double volume shared-space.

  Enduring finish materials of cement plaster, travertine veneer, stainless steel cable rail, and impact resistant aluminum storefront and glazing are used on the exterior.  An interior palette of travertine, stained walnut veneer, quartz counters, cedar plank acoustical ceiling system, and frosted glass evokes a sense of simplicity and permanence.
