$17,000,000.00 of improvements to the Pinellas Technical College included enhanced way winding, updated building facades, and various levels of additions, renovation and remodeling to 13 educational and administrative buildings on the Clearwater campus.  The vehicular drop-off roundabout has been expanded into a prominent entry point with a new landscaped courtyard for outdoor seating.

Several of the buildings have been entirely re-purposed to accommodate new programs and anticipated growth. Many of the campus-wide renovations included updated restrooms, improved HVAC systems, new ceilings, energy efficient LED lighting, and new low voltage life safety systems. The construction trade and automotive programs received a two-wing classroom addition and an expansive covered work area for daytime and evening classes.

The renovations also included new furniture and equipment installed to more closely duplicate real world work environments to assist students in earning industry licenses and certifications.
